Small Weddings That Feel Like So Much More
Not every wedding lasts an entire day.
Some couples intentionally choose a small and intimate civil ceremony, celebrated with close family members or a few friends.
These moments are often deeply personal and emotional:
a quiet look, a warm embrace, laughter as you leave the registry office together.
Even if your wedding only lasts a few hours, the memories created during that time are ones you will cherish for a lifetime.
As a wedding photographer based in Leipzig, documenting weddings throughout Germany and Europe, I also accompany civil weddings in a more intimate setting.
During this shorter coverage, I capture the most meaningful moments of your day in natural and authentic photographs — so that even a short celebration feels complete when you look back at your images.
A small wedding. Lasting memories.
A civil ceremony is often the moment when your shared future officially begins.
Even if the day may be shorter than a large wedding celebration, the emotions are just as powerful.
That is exactly why these moments deserve to be documented professionally.
The photographs from your civil wedding become lasting memories — reminding you again and again of this beautiful beginning.
Whether your ceremony takes place
-
in a historic city hall
-
in a castle
-
or during a small and intimate gathering
every wedding is unique.
And capturing that uniqueness is exactly what my work is about.

Important note:
Short wedding coverage is only offered within Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt, preferably in and around Leipzig. For shorter bookings I do not travel to distant destinations.
Elopements and destination weddings are always documented as full-day wedding coverage.

For shorter wedding coverage, the couple portrait session usually takes place shortly after or before the civil ceremony. Many couples choose a beautiful location near the registry office or a nearby park for relaxed and natural wedding photographs.

Yes — many couples choose to have a small civil ceremony first and celebrate their larger wedding on another day. In this case, you can book intimate wedding coverage for the civil ceremony and full-day wedding coverage for your larger celebration.
